Genesis 37:1-11 – Strangers in a Foreign Land (includes communion)

Informações:

Sinopse

In our study today, when Jacob arrives in the Promised Land, we are told that he “dwelt” there. The word “dwelt” means he “settled” or “squatted” there. Unlike his fathers before him, Jacob saw Hebron as his permanent home. As we move on in our study in Genesis, we are going to see how God changed Jacob’s mindset from that of a citizen of this world to that of a stranger living in a foreign land. And the process He takes him through is important to observe because in many ways it mirrors the things the Lord does in our lives to bring us to a place to where we too see ourselves as strangers and pilgrims in this world and not squatters.
