Someone once said that the way to avoid backsliding is to stay off the slopes. But the problem is, we can’t avoid the slopes of life—especially if we are walking through this world as Christians. Life is an uphill battle and so we are either going forward or we are backsliding. In today’s story we’ll take a look at the biblical character named Jacob, and we will see how God answers this backslider’s prayer and gets him back on his feet moving forward again.
