Heavy Snow for the Northeastern Mountains; Severe Storms Across the Plains - An area of low pressure skirting the coast will bring heavy snowfall across the higher elevations of the interior Northeast through tonight. A new storm developing across the Central and Southern Plains will bring the threat for a few severe storms across those regions, shifting into the Tennessee Valley by Tuesday.
