According to authorities Seth Weidemann used the internet to try to exploit a vulnerable child for sexual gratification. According to authorities Weidemann began communicating with an undercover agent in January of 2019, thinking he was talking to an 11-year-old girl. Weidemann sent multiple messages trying to meet with the minor for sex. Unbeknownst to him, he was setting himself up for a trap, a sting if you will. Weidemann at one point was sending explicit messages describing what he wanted to do with the intended minor.
