Xiomara worked at CHIRLA and helped organize some of the largest immigrants rights marches this country has ever seen - 1 Million people!  Xiomara talks about the evolution of the immigrant rights movement: its history & current state; the need to acknowledge anti-Black, anti-indigenous, anti-Central American, and anti-trans issues in the movement; AND most importantly, the importance of unity, struggle, and organizing!!!
