With the upcoming election on October 21st, our theme for the next few episodes will be about literacy and civic engagement. We will feature special guests who will talk to us about the importance of participating in the election, why you should vote, and what some of the barriers and opportunities there are to civic engagement. On this week’s episode, the first of our election special we speak with the Honourable David Lametti, who is the Member of Parliament for LaSalle—Émard—Verdun, the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General of Canada.
