Severe Weather Threat Continues For The Lower Mississippi Valley, Excessive Heat To Build Over The Southwest - Severe thunderstorms capable of damaging winds, large hail, tornadoes, heavy rainfall, and flash flooding will continue over the Lower Mississippi Valley into Saturday morning. Additional severe weather will be possible over the Mid South and southern Mid Atlantic Saturday afternoon and evening.
