Critical Fire Weather Conditions Persist Over The High Plains; Severe Thunderstorm Threats Over The Central U.S. - Several days of very dry air combined with gusty winds will continue critical fire weather conditions over portions of the southern and central High Plains into this weekend. These conditions could lead to the growth and spread of wildfires given ignition.
