This week’s Radio COTA Podcast # 69 presents for you Part 1 of our Annual Feature for “Seniors Week” Queensland Seniors Week, held from 19-27 August 2017, provides the opportunity for older Queenslanders to explore programs and services, events and activities, and is a great way of connecting with people of all ages and backgrounds, and together, celebrating the many contributions older people make in their communities. Queensland Seniors Week is a long-running, and always highly anticipated, initiative of COTA Queensland (Council on the Ageing)and is funded by the Queensland Government. The theme for Queensland Seniors Week 2017 is “A Queensland for All Ages” Our special Guest this week is Lisa Hodgkinson, COTA Queensland’s Senior’s Week Co-Ordinator .. Lisa shares with us a bit of the history of Qld Senior’s Week, as well as giving us a taste of the wonderful things to come around our state this year !
