Heat Continues to Build Across the West - The heat wave continues to build out west, where record high temperatures may be possible by late this week. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure moving across the Tennessee Valley will bring the threat for severe thunderstorms, including tornadoes, to the southern Appalachians today.
