Because worship pushes forward with the light and hope of God. Do you find yourself in the belly of a fish right now? The situation you’re in does not define who you are. Jesus defines you. And he says you are a child of God. Without knowing the outcome of your current prayers, you can promise to worship as well. God hears you. Push forward with the same light and hope Jonah did.
