The Christmas season seems to go one of two ways for everyone I know. It can be a time of joy and happiness, with a grateful spirit towards God who becomes man for our sake. Or, it can be a time of stress and busy schedules, with a hope that 'we can just get through this'.I think the difference in these two experiences, in a word, is JOY! When the season overwhelms us and we cannot feel the JOY of the incarnation of our God - our focus becomes on the right now - instead of on God and His love. I hope we can, together, find and keep JOY this year... and make Christmas an experience instead of just an event.
