Covenant Grace

This week's sermon draws Ephesians 2:11-22 to a conclusion by driving home the truths that we have explored over the past couple of weeks. At the center of it all is the reality that each and every sinner who believes in Jesus Christ is born again to a new identity as a fully fledged member of the Church. No longer are we defined by our earthly heritage, our many failures or former sins. Now, in Christ, we stand as equals alongside all other true believers from every age. Paul explains that both Christ's work and Christ's Word--which, together with Christ himself are the one and only foundation for the Church--are the solid rock upon which the people of God are established, justified, adopted, sanctified, and persevered unto glory.
