Covenant Grace

This sermon covers the important and often difficult question of the relationship between the New Testament Church and Old Testament Israel in Christ. There is much to learn within this very complex subject, but one of the most important things is to recognize that the Old Testament and New Testament are not two separate stories, but one continuous story in which Jesus Christ is both the central figure and Cornerstone. Through the Cross, Jesus has inaugurated the New Covenant era, having fulfilled all that was temporarily foreshadowed and anticipated throughout redemptive history in the Old Covenant. Thus, we now see that in Christ, all true believers from every age comprise the one, eternal, blood-bought people of God, the True Israel of God and Church forevermore.
