God’s ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9) and there is a way that seem right to us but it’s not good (Proverbs 14:12, 16:25). Many times God’s way is unconventional and Jesus reveals that in the famous Triumphal Entry celebrated on Palm Sunday (the Sunday before Easter). Yes following Jesus brings a thriving life (John 10:10, 1 Timothy 6:18-19, John 8:32, 2 Corinthians 5:17) yet it’s NOT by way of a path we expect like the one of fame, power, me-centeredness, and pride. This unconventional path is one where we Thrive through Godly Humility, Thrive through Hope in the Lord, and Thrive through Trust in God’s Truth.
