Severe Weather and Heavy Rain in the East - A strong cold front will move into the East on Thursday. Isolated strong to locally severe thunderstorms with damaging winds will be possible from parts of New England to the Carolinas. Also, locally heavy rain and flooding is possible across parts of the Mid-Atlantic into the Carolinas.
