A Sweltering Heat Wave For The West - A sweltering heat wave with record breaking temperatures is expected the rest of the week in much of the West, as a large dome of high pressure builds and expands across the region. Numerous excessive heat warnings and advisories are already in effect across Arizona, California and Nevada.
