Confessions Of A Super Mom Wannabe

What’s happening around us is not okay: The prejudice, the racism, it’s not okay, and if we choose to ignore it or decide that it doesn’t apply to us or say there’s nothing we can do about it, then WE are part of the problem.   Our kids deserve a better world than this, and if we hope to give that to them, it starts with US. It starts with asking ourselves some hard questions. It starts with loving our neighbor. It starts with talking about real issues like privilege and racism with our kids. We owe it to them.   I sat in my car and recorded some raw thoughts on racism and inequality based on recent events in America, and I’m replaying an impactful conversation I had with a powerful woman who is bringing change and healing to this deep wound in our country, with so much love.
