Severe Weather and Flash Flooding Threat in the Upper Midwest; Heat Begins to Build in the Central U.S. - Severe thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected to bring damaging wind gusts, large hail, and possibly a few tornadoes across portions of the northern Plains into the Upper Midwest Friday afternoon into early Saturday morning.
