Christian Aranza is the Head Pastor at Valley Rise Church. Raised in southern Louisiana, he moved to Detroit Michigan for high school. After graduation, Christian served as a medic in the airforce, and later earned his degree from Oral Roberts University. After some challenges, Christian began his life of service at Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama. In January 2018, he launched Valley Rise Church in Houston, Texas, where he continues to build an open and inviting community. “When I went in I went in, I had just started dating my now wife, and heard all these horror stories, you’re going to go off to war and she’s going to find someone else. . . . And I said God if you let me not deploy I’ll be a preacher. Not because I was scared, I just didn’t want to lose the person that I knew I was going to spend my life with."
