Bible Streams

An overview of the Bible featuring Paul H. Jones, speaking about the Former Prophets. In this third episode of our Bible overview series, we discuss the former prophets, otherwise known as the history of Israel that covers: Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings and 2 Kings. For each book we briefly discuss where they fit into salvation history, how they may have come about, and how we ought to read these books as followers of Christ. Listen in to hear how the Israelite's conquered the promised land, but also how they divided themselves and were defeated in the promised land.
