The GoGo Wrap Story GoGo Wrap was founded in 2007 by husband and wife team Michelle and John Walters, two California-based massage therapists and parents to sons Aidan 2, and Brian, 10. Michelle originally came up with the idea for GoGo Wrap after a local La Leche League meeting. A friend wanted her to try out her new car seat with Michelle's then 2-month old son Aidan. Aidan was swaddled, had just finished breast feeding, and was falling peacefully asleep. Michelle immediately realized that it would be necessary to wake her son and completely unwrap him from his swaddle to get him into the seat. Michelle remembers, "My friend said 'Well, you can't have your cake and eat it too!' and I thought, Why not?" She went home and sketched out her idea for a unique swaddler that would accommodate the straps of most car seats, enabling the baby to be moved from crib to car without waking.
