The former Christchurch Recovery Minister has reflected on the decade since the first earthquake. Today marks ten years since the magnitude 7.1 earthquake first struck the region. National deputy leader Gerry Brownlee told Chris Lynch the biggest brake to things happening in Christchurch was Treasury.He says he regrets being so willing to accept some of the advice it gave.Brownlee says they ignored a huge amount of it but they were people from outside Christchurch who had no idea what was going on.Christchurch East MP Poto Williams says Brownlee must take some responsibility for the trouble people had with EQC.Listen above.
