It's important to remember those lost and educate the next generations in order to keep from repeating mistakes from history. An exhibition at the central Christchurch library Tūranga shows the unspeakable cost of the Holocaust by using 1.5 million unique buttons to represent the number of children lost.Holocaust Centre of New Zealand chief executive Chris Harris told Chris Lynch it's necessary to teach young people the importance of standing up and calling people out for bullying, harassment and discrimination.The Children’s Holocaust Memorial will be on display at Hapori/Community, level 1, until Wednesday, September 23.Listen above.
