The Mayor is downplaying concerns about a suggested parking levy for staff in city businesses.  Lianne Dalziel says the option was put forward by council staff as a way to obtain funding for buildings and infrastructure.It is part of a drive to find new revenue gathering methods for the council. Other options included increasing fees such as water charges, or increased fares on waste. The Mayor told Chris Lynch it was just a generic report and some of the options wouldn't be able to be implemented, but that ideas are up for discussion. It sparked Chris to issue Dalziel with a little bit of homework before they talk again next week. LISTEN ABOVE
