The Sensible Sentencing Trust wants the parents of young fleeing drivers held to account.Jayden Breakwell has been sent to jail for two years and eight months after he fatally struck Kenneth McCaul during a police pursuit.The 18-year-old admitted to burglaries in the months before the crash, and was in breach of alcohol and passenger conditions on his learner licence.Sensible Sentencing Trust's Jess McVicar told Chris Lynch there's no prevention in youth crime.She says if the kids can't learn the lesson, the adults should."Kids have just lost all respect for the police and the law, and a lot of that is because they are not being held to account by their parents."LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW ABOVE
