A concrete investigator says it's putting its own neck on the line by blowing the whistle on defective concrete in a large number of New Zealand buildings.Concrete Structure Investigations carries out ultra sonic testing for engineers, who are concerned a building is showing signs of stress.It claims out of the 1200 buildings they've looked at the vast majority showed "cause for concern".Co-director Jane Roach-Gray told Chris Lynch the company can't identify the buildings because they could be sued under contracts with the engineers.She says they have informed MBIE and the Structural Engineering Society.Jane Roach-Gray says she would personally feel uncomfortable entering fifty of those buildings. LISTEN ABOVE
