Christchurch resident Ema Moore is outraged after being informed by Corrections and the police at her door that a person with sex offences against young people will be residing nearby. Ema told Richard Green that as a sexual abuse survivor herself she has done everything she can to provide her children with a safe environment and feels that as Corrections has let her down in the past so what is to stop it happening again now.She says this is an area populated by young families, with schools and early childcare centres nearby, all of which would be putting this person in the direct path of temptation.
