Tower Insurance has announced their decision to raise insurance premiums for people living in high-risk earthquake prone areas and lower them for low risk areas – ‘in a bid to send a clearer message to home-owners about the risks of where they live’.Chris Lynch spoke to the Insurance Council of New Zealand's Chief Executive Tim Grafton to find out why and whether other insurers are likely to follow suit.
