A gun safety kit being offered at some childcare centres is being described by some as tacky and poorly designed. Evolve Education has developed the programme for about 40 rural preschools in areas where hunting is common. It includes three safety rules, as well as cardboard guns and targets.Chris Lynch spoke to Nathan Wallis, a former early childhood lecturer at Canterbury University who now runs his own company X-Factor Education, about this controversial issue.
