Martin Presse, who is a published author, acclaimed speaker, and coach was my guest this week on Success Profiles Radio. In 2008, Martin entered the Toastmasters International World Championship of Public Speaking and finished in the top ten out of 30,000 contestants from around the world. We discussed the value of learning to speak in front of groups, how that can help your career, and things you can do to become better at it. We talked about how to make presentations effective, how to overcome stage fright, and how to develop confidence. We also talked about how he built his coaching practice and seminar business and how these activities have positively impacted his career. We discussed how to establish a price point, the skill set required, and marketing ideas.
