Sheehan Lynch: I am a 27 year old doctoral student at the University of Alabama studying Sport Pedagogy. I moved to the United States in 2015 after teaching Physical Education in an inner London school, England. I played almost every sport growing up and am one of those annoying sports people who is just ‘lucky’ enough to pick up new sports. I keep myself fairly active by running and swimming regularly. I have learnt an incredible amount throughout my time at the university and my thoughts on education as a whole have changed. I feel we are always learning and always in the act of becoming. My research interests are linked to critical and transformative pedagogy, social justice issues and qualitative research. My passion lies with providing each and every child in schools with an inclusive, thought provoking educational opportunity within PE.
