Insider host Ryan Pfeil talks to Matt Heverly, a former Medford resident who now works for the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He helped "drive" the Opportunity and Curiosity rovers and was most recently part of the team that helped build the Perseverance Rover's wheels, suspension system, gear boxes, and motors — crucial components for its movement across the Martian surface after its successful Feb. 18 landing.
