Can you count how many lies the Enemy Satan has told you to “give up”? If we are alike then you’re shaking your head “no”. It probably also means that you can’t keep count of how many times you started a journey for a new idea, plan, or goal and then gave up on it. The question is this: Do you know that the Enemy wants you to sign a contract with him and let him win? He wants you to quit so that God doesn’t get the glory! He’s told you time and time again to do things the “easy” way because it’s the answer you’re looking for. Sometimes (no MANY times) we are SPIRITUALLY BLIND to what’s true and we wind up falling when we consent to the Enemy’s shrewd tricks. When I gave my attention to those half-truths instead of God’s perfect truth it brought me nothing but distress. I felt embarrassment, guilt, and shame for the things that I chose to participate in.
