Colin helps us see, through Isaiah 61:1-3, that the LORD’s favor in Christ shows us the very mission of God to bring hope and joy in this life. God will fulfill His mission for His glory, but also as its fulfillment brings Him delight when sinners are saved to be called His sons and daughters by Jesus' life, death, and resurrection by the power of the Holy Spirit.
