In the book of Matthew, we find a moment in the ministry of Jesus when he has before him people who are weighed down with the cares and concerns of this world. And instead of turning away from such daily realities, he presses in. And while he doesn’t promise a carefree life, he does promise the possibility of a life free from worry and anxiety.
