One needs to see the drawbacks of Samsara, the endless cycle of wandering on. Time passes; the days are passing by and life is uncertain. When our time runs out, we are unable to do acts of merit anymore. So we need to train our minds to be firm in the doing of goodness, not to let go of one’s effort and get lost in the various moods and sense objects of the world.
