Waking Up In America

Dr. Val welcomes Valerie Harper, fresh from her hit run as Golda Meir in Golda's Balcony. This legendary performer became a house hold name as the best friend of Mary Tyler Moore. In later years, she formed a powerful relationship with Gerry and Dennis Weaver in founding LOVE, an organization responsible for feeding a multitude of people in the Los Angeles Area. As one of the Weaver family's dearest friends, Dr. Val and the team are delighted to have Valerie on “Waking Up in America”.
