28-year-old David Gipson Smith left his home in Pilesgrove, New Jersey on August 5th, 2017. He drove to Catonsville, Maryland where he met up with a friend. When plans with that friend didn't quite work out, she introduced him to a second woman who claims to have dropped David off on an undeveloped piece of property in Lisbon, Maryland. She supposedly left David there with no food or water and didn’t return to check on him for days. When David's family failed to hear from him for several days, they began to piece together his last known whereabouts.
