In the Christian life, our sense of strength and our sense of weakness can become barriers to surrendering more to God -- it all depends on how we process those things. When we look at our strength and our weakness from the perspective of the gospel, we see that we are simultaneously not nearly as strong as we think and at the same time stronger than we could ever dare imagine. Christians need to learn to manage their experiences of stregnth and weakness so they produce an empowering humilty as opposed to a pride that can lead us astray, cripple us, and deflating us. Sermon is based off of 2 Corinthians 12:1-10.
