Cinematographer Giovani Lampassi was filming on location in Louisiana in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina hit. He witnessed first hand the devastation of the people. How quickly their belongings became reduced to what could be carried in a garbage bag and it got him thinking. How could he be prepared for if and when there is an earthquake in Los Angeles? Giovani has worked on shows like Party Down and Up All Night. He’s currently on hit Fox show Brooklyn Nine-Nine. And he’s known amongst his friends and colleagues as being uber prepared.
