Andrew Fisher, Pastor at St. Ambrose Parish "The Spanish Jesuit Martyrs of Virginia : A Story of Faith Every Catholic Should Know" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fr. Andrew Fisher is a native of northern Virginia, and played Division I baseball in college. He attended Mt St Mary's in Emmitsburg, Maryland for college and seminary, and was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Arlington inn 1998. He has served as parochial vicar in St. William of York parish (Stafford), Queen of Apostles parish (Alexandria), and the Cathedral of St Thomas More (Arlington). Fr. Fisher also served for six years as the Director of Liturgy at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC. Currently, he serves as the pastor of St. Ambrose parish (Annandale). Fr. Fisher is a popular speaker on topics in Church History and the Saints at conferences, retreats, and parishes around the nation.
