We celebrate episode #50 of our SoulBack R&B Podcast by bringing in our family Digital Black and Smoke E. Digglera of the group Playa. The duo along with the late Static Major were responsible for creating classics for the likes of Ginuwine, Aaliyah and many more. Most recently they joined fellow R&B group Dru Hill and we are anxiously waiting for their new album which is set to come out later this year. We talk to Smoke and Black about their decision to join Dru Hill, protecting Playa's legacy during the whole transition and we also talk extensively about Playa's debut album "Cheers 2 U".
