It's Jeremy! It's Bob! It's Darth Vader on a unicycle, playing bagpipes! While all of these folks make an appearance on this episode, only Jeremy Parish and Bob Mackey form the Retronauts--the namesake behind one of the seminal gaming podcasts (retro or otherwise) in the entire galaxy! The Dogcast was thrilled to sit down with Jeremy and Bob at PRGE for a fun, lively chat that covered a whole range of topics. Everything from Jeremy's early days as a writer of strategy guides, to the current state of games journalism, how Bob and Jeremy first met and their earliest collaborations, beer, gin, and we also get a glimpse into what it takes to create an episode of the Retronauts--or how the retro-sausage is made, so to speak. Actually, in hindsight, no one should ever use the term "retro-sausage" again. Ever. Oh, and there may be references to Christopher Walken and bad Full Motion Video games. You have been warned.
