Worth

For the next couple weeks on Worth we’ll be talking about community. Community is such an important aspect of Christianity because without community, the church is nothing. The New Testament Church is such a glorious example of community. In fact the purpose of the New Testament after Acts chapter 1 was to establish Jesus’s church to be a witness: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” - Acts 1:8. We need witnesses for the church - this is where community is essential. Jessica Cmiel is an awesome example of a witness forJesus’s church. She graduated from a large public high school in just three years and is now at the University of Georgia.
