Expedition Church

As we draw near to the close of our EXILES series, we are encouraged to remember that as exiles living in a culture which we often find to be uncomfortable, we will suffer. But we need to use our suffering as an opportunity to bring peace to that culture. As Christ has suffered and redeemed us, so we should seek the redemption of that culture and its people, accepting the sufferings with a foreknowledge born of a peaceful recognition of the inevitability that things will not “of course” go your way.
