The Seattle Seahawks are in a similar position the Houston Texans were in last season. The major difference is Seattle can’t franchise tag Clowney and limit his ability to take off and play somewhere else. That being said, Seattle can choose to keep Clowney around long-term, or do what Houston did, and choose to let him play elsewhere.
