I'm probably like most people who listen to your show in that I'm an artist trying to build my band. I understand that a record label needs to consider whether a band has a following when signing them, but what do managers look for? Conversely, if an artist has multiple offers from prospective managers, what should the artist consider? Do you have any advice for an independent band, preparing to release an album in 2018? My band is just about finished tracking its new album. It's been almost two years in the making and I want to make sure we have a plan when it comes to putting it out. Do you have any advice?
