Emily Bland is the “Seed-EO” of SucSeed, a company dedicated to improving food security and the lives of people across Canada. She is a recent graduate of the Commerce program at Memorial University and has received national recognition and awards for her business and leadership skills, including HSBC's Women Leader of Tomorrow for Atlantic Canada, 21 Inc's Top 50 Emerging Leaders in Atlantic Canada, and was most recently recognized as a 2017 Top 7 SheEO Venture. Her company has successfully impacted the lives of thousands of people across the country and created over 150 jobs. Her company proudly employs at-risk and homeless youth needing a hand-up in life to build the home hydroponic growing systems they offer throughout Canada.   Emily joins me today to share how SucSeed began as an Enactus project while she attended university to becoming a full circle social enterprise.
