We are joined this week by Grace McManus, youth leader and activist and one of the founding members of 'Be Well', the mental health awareness initiative that began as a small, local endeavour and grew into a national success. A great example of youth- led, young person centered and needs responsive youth work, 'Be Well' was founded by young people for young people and Grace shares her experience of informing that process. We also talk about her activism, her views on youth work and mental health and learn how her own mentor shaped much of her journey to being an active and dedicated ambassador for her peers.
